Merbok SUPER 6's higher density, better moisture resistance, increased resistance to fungus attack and better paintability makes it ideal for more demanding applications such as furniture bases, backing of photo lamination, picture frames, partitioning and most applications where plywood has been traditionally chosen over standard grade MDF.
Abandoning Fixed Ideas
Merbok's SUPER 6 has been specially developed to meet the needs of users looking for better properties than standard MDF but less than the properties of either HDF or MR MDF.
Merbok SUPER 6’s properties sit between Merbok MR that is suitable for high humidity application and the more economical standard grade Merbok Gold. Merbok SUPER 6’s higher density, better moisture resistance, increased resistance to fungus attack and better paintability makes it ideal for more demanding application such as furniture bases, backing photo lamination, picture frames, partitioning and most applications where plywood has been traditionally chosen over standard grade MDF.
Merbok SUPER 6 has been coloured blue so as to differentiate it from Standard grade Merbok Gold and the highly moisture resistant Merbok MR which is coloured green in accordance with international practice. Merbok SUPER 6 is also available in a white laminated finish giving Merbok SUPER 6 a hard wearing and durable surface that makes it ideal for prefinished partitioning applications.
Think outside the boundaries with Merbok SUPER 6.
Merbok SUPER 6 is available in thickness of 6mm and in a panel size of 2440mm x 1220mm.
